Aroldis Chapman (24) -I don't know what to make of him any more than you do. Maybe he was put on this earth to teach us patience; every time I think we should trade him and get something nice, I think of how long it took guys like Randy Johnson and Koufax to put it all together.
Brian Reith (34) -Part of the Denny Neagle deal with the Yankees. Seems like forever since he's been on the radar, but he's been chasing the game at lower levels as recently as 2009.
Ricky Stone (37) -Haven't heard an update on him recently; hope he's doing OK.
Dallas Williams (54) -A Red in '83. In 1981 he played in the longest game in history; 33 innings between Pawtucket and Rochester. He went 0 for 13, establishing some kind of record for having a bad day at the park.
Frank Malzone (82) -All-star for Boston. First 3B to win a Gold Glove after they started awarding them, and the last 3B to win one before Brooks Robinson started his string of 16 consecutive.
Terry Turner -Diminutive SS who played for the Indians for a long time and still shows up among their career leaders in several categories. Pioneered the head-first slide because he said sliding feet first hurt his ankles.
