    New Fan from UK

    Hello all,

BIG Baseball fan from the UK here. Have been following the game for some years now (God bless MLB TV) but still learning. Ive learnt a lot about the Reds from your posts but too shy to contribute so far!

I got into the Reds on a baseball road trip in 2010. Saw two games at GAB and have followed them ever since.

    Here's to a good season!

    Rob

Liverpool fan here, and strictly because they're also the Reds. Welcome.

    Cheers all

To ORH - Re LFC - ugh Re the colour thing - blue - hmmm no no no not the Royals or the Yankees!

There's an intense rivalry between the two teams but it's 'mostly' good humoured. seen some good games v Liverpool over the years. i'm from Liverpool but live/work in the south now.

I must say this a really good message board BTW.

My goal as well, but my wife thinks I'm a little crazy. She thinks the fans are...polite way to put it...a bit too passionate.

At least in England, I've head they've clamped down on Hooliganism. I think fans at many NFL venues are probably worse.

    Thanks RBa. I know Mildenhall.

Re the EPL - There's no great issues generally speaking. varying atmospheres depending on where you go. at Goodison on saturday Sunderland and Everton fans mixed freely. I'd always advise don't wear colours and your fine, plenty do of course without incident.
