Should rival scouts be able to watch teams' drills?

Looks like Bruce Bochy got into it yesterday with a scout from the Angels who had the temerity to watch the Giants' drills.

I'd say that for anything that doesn't involve a paid entrance, the host has the right to refuse admission.

What is anyone going to learn by watching another team's drills? The ball is hit somewhere and then the fielder gets there and throws the ball to the correct location.

I would think the only thing in baseball you wouldn't want the other team to find out is your indicator system for signs. I doubt that would be given out on the field while doing drills. Much ado about nothing it seems.

Should they be allowed to? Not sure. But, by rule, they are.
