I couldn't believe Norfolk St. hung on and won this game. I thought they were a complete cupcake when Illinois State (my alma mater) destroyed them 68-36 in a game last December.
It's what makes March Madness great- you know the upsets are coming, but they come from unexpected sources.
Several good games tonight. Duke only up 2 on Lehigh at the half. Ohio up 5 on Michigan at the half and St. Louis and Memphis are in a close game early in the 2nd half.
A very interesting team- they lost to Marquette by 30 in Milwaukee in November, and a week later were an open shot away from upsetting them in the finals of the Paradise Jam. I remember thinking at that time that they would be heard from again in March. Alma Mater of the great Bobby Dandridge
