Maybe he'll go casual.
When he was a Red, I would have nominated him for best performance by DH in left field.

Adam Dunn may hit Oscars. Or he may swing and miss.

Even though he did put up some gaudy power numbers overall, it seems like I always forget his name until I see it pop up somewhere. A pretty forgettable player to this non-Reds fan. He seemed more like a big oaf who could clobber the baseball, if he made contact with it, then a real good player.

I've always enjoyed Dunner's self-deprecating humor. For what it's worth, Dunn said he owns a tuxedo, so he won't have to buy or rent one if he decides to go to L.A.
"I'm pretty much a T-shirt, boots and blue jeans guy," Dunn said. "I have a tux. I'm just not sure I could still fit in it or not."

With a wife and 2 daughters who are into the whole fashion thing, I will admit to have watched the whole pre-Oscar Red Carpet thing.
The thought of Dunn commenting on the merits of a Prada vs a Ralph Lauren tux is just pretty funny. IIRC he was quite the outdoorsman.

I think if he goes he should be Matthew McCaughney's personal chauffeur to the stage. Each time MM wins an award he jumps on Dunner's back and triumphantly rides to the stage.

Hitters who avoid outs are the funnest.
Sure makes me feel old when I realize this season will be Dunn's 13th full season at the Major League level.

A lot of people will enjoy the fact that next on Dunn's career HR list to pass is Dave Kingman, the guy people always compared him to despite large out-making differences. But, bbref has Kingman as his #1 similarity score.
