Boxberger nailed down his first major league save earlier tonight, having to face Cargo, Tulo, and Cuddyer to do so in a 1-run game.
Stick to your guns.
After another disastrous outing, it seems Aaron Harang's role as a starting pitcher in the MLB is hanging on by a string.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
The Padres general manager said during a radio interview today that Yonder Alonso could miss a month with a fractured right hand

Drew Stubbs: More valuable than Adam Dunn. Who'd have thunk it.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Chris Denorfia with a higher WAR than Edwin and Chris Dickerson and Drew Stubbs with a higher WAR than Travis Wood.
Example A of why I can't get behind WAR.
EDIT: Oh, that was just hitting WAR. Not pitching lol. Edwin/Denorfia still applies.
Volquez and Roenicke have just about played themselves out of MLB, huh?

to this:It’s Aaron Harang’s world and we are all just living in it.So on the season, Harang, who is now 3-6 with a 5.60 earned run average after his stellar outing, has two complete game shutouts, while Felix Hernandez and Hisashi Iwakuma – the Mariners’ two best pitchers – have none.
Baseball is a very odd game

Two complete game shutouts in his last four starts.
