    R.I.P. Furman Bisher

    Long-time famed Atlanta Journal-Constitution columnist Furman Bisher dies at 93. I read his stuff in the Sporting News back in the day. Quite the writer and chronicler of 20th century sports and quite the character.

    Read quite a bit of Furmsn from the late 80's on was definitely a voice of the old south, and a more regional view of the sports world
