    Arroyo

I know it's spring training. But there's a week left and he was topping out at 88 mph last night. Most of the time it was 86. Wasn't the gun because Volquez was getting 95 and 93. First time I've seen Arroyo pitch this spring and I thought he looked awful. I think we have 4 starters.

If Arroyo continues his woes of last year or worse, how long will Walt wait until he finds a reason to put on the DL and bring Francis up? I'd give 3 starts max. But what will the Reds do?

On the other hand, Volquez looked pretty good, didn't he? (I'm still glad we got Latos though)

Not surprised that Volquez was bringing it big time against the team that traded him away. He was pitching like it was August and not March, trying to prove something to his former team. He should save that for the regular season, not spring training.

Francis and Chapman have both looked leagues better than Bronson... Sucks because Dusty will still start him, especially now that he needs another arm in the bullpen

That's pretty arrogant. Who are you? A scout?

Nope. I'm judging him off his 86 mph fastball I watched Friday night
