Latos leaves game with strained calf

    per rotoworld:

Mat Latos exited Tuesday's start against the Cubs in the fifth inning with an apparent injury.

Latos, who allowed two runs over 4 2/3 innings, left the game after being visited on the mound by Reds' manager Dusty Baker and a team trainer. The exact nature of the injury isn't yet clear, but we should learn more soon.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

This one would worry me more than Madson, that's for sure. Hopefully nothing major.

He twisted his ankle on a pitch. He wanted to stay in, but the Reds forced him off the mound. He walked off the mound and across the field to the clubhouse on his own, with no apparent limp. All according to the Cowboy on WLW.

So next week he'll be getting his leg amputated?

LOL! I could understand that for sure. I think we're all a little sensitive to the "TJ" word.

@reds RHP Mat Latos left the game with a strained left calf. He is day-to-day.

As long as he's healthy and ready to pitch his 1st turn after the season starts, all should be okay.
