Possible first round draft choice - Suicide

Yesterday was a very strange day for baseball fans in my area. Tonight my son's team was to play Parsons Riverside, a major rival of theirs. Parsons is a small community about 30 minutes from my hometown. Parsons had a kid on the team that threw over 90 MPH and was already signed to play for Vandy and was expected to go very high in the draft...some speculate first round. Yesterday he committed suicide. I am in complete shock because I've seen or heard about this kid for years and my son has played for and against players from his team for years in travel ball and in league ball.

How terribly sad. There's never any way to understand this sort of thing. I had a friend/business colleague commit suicide some years ago, a guy I talked to several times a week. I've always rolled over the "what if's" and all since, but there are no answers. He even wrote out a note for me (among others) before he did it. Still miss him even to this day.
