2012 Annual Reds Magic Number Thread

    http://espn.go.com/mlb/standings
With the Reds moving into a tie for first with the Cardinals and in possession of the best pythag differential in baseball I thought I would start the annual Reds Magic Number thread.

Reds moving into a tie for a first makes this bump-worthy.

That is our number vs. Pittsburgh, the 2nd place team. The CBS Sports standing page, HERE, has the magic number vs. each team. That number is on the left in (). For example, our number vs. the Cardinals is 47.

Thanks for verifying it for me. I found a site that explained the math and I figured it at this number. Obviously, as many of us have said, the team has to take care of business. Win our games and let the others fall where they will.
