Awful first start by Latos. He needs to get used to GABP immediately, this isn't petco anymore

Three outs on six pitches. That's a huge problem. That's why guys can go late in games on us.

Offense is a bigger concern for me than anything else. Didn't do anything to booster lack of hitting

We can produce a lot of runs over a season...but in situations like this t's like our offense begins to flail like a man drowning. Need to have longer at bats, take pitches, force the pitcher to throw strikes and choose the one's you're going to swing at.

Other than Chapman or Marshall the depth of the bullpen worries me also, more so than our offense

Right, because his splits were so different home and away.

True. There was no reason to burn both Chapman and Marshall the other night.

Chapman and Marshall could go tonight if needed I would think..Both didnt throw too many pitches..We need to score some runs for them to be used at all however

Because neither of them will go tonight when we need shut down pitching. Chapman could've gone another inning or two...he was unhittable. No reason to burn Marshall...although Dusty is a huge fan of the dedicated closer, which I don't think is necessary with our now shallow depth in the pen.

Latos was far from impressive, but I'm more concerned with our sticks.
