Brian Peacock was sent back to Pensacola. Also in Louisville, Josh Judy was put in the temporarily inactive list, and Daryl Jones was activated from the disabled list.

Jaren Matthews was released. Brian Pearl was promoted to Pensacola. Chris Berset was sent back to Bakersfield to accommodate Danny Vicioso being placed on the disabled list (foot injury). Steve Selsky was promoted to Bakersfield, just like one of our inside men said would happen. Bryson Smith was activated from the disabled list.

Yes, it was just announced in another thread. I believe he had taken a flight there yesterday.

J.J. Hoover was optioned to Louisville to make room for Bill Bray being activated from the disabled list. In Pensacola, Luis Atilano was moved from the disabled list to the restricted list. You often see moves like that when someone retires, so we'll see. Erik Miller's temp assignment finally ended, so the Blue Wahoos sent him back to Dayton. Bakersfield released John Holdzkom, the minor league free agent who had been drafted by the Mets in the fourth round back in 2006. Surprisingly, Aldi Guzman was sent to Dayton before playing in rookie ball. The AZL Reds decided to bring Jose Guzman up from the Dominican. I had forgotten to mention that's what happened to Ronald Bueno and Jonathan Reynoso, too. The word is that Yorman Rodriguez is in Dayton right now, but no corresponding move has been announced.

Joel Guzman asked to be released.

Now if we can just get rid of the clubhouse cancer.

    Outrighted To Triple-A: Willie Harris
By Mike Axisa [June 26 at 8:49am CST]
We'll keep track of today's outright assignments right here, with the latest up top...

The Reds have outrighted Willie Harris to Triple-A according to MLB.com's transactions page. Cincinnati signed the 34-year-old utility player to a minor league contract this offseason and has already outrighted him once before this season. Harris has hit .114/.170/.205 in 48 plate appearances for the Reds and .245/.309/.318 in 123 plate appearances for their Triple-A affiliate this year.

Miguel Rojas was sent back down to Pensacola. He looked pretty over-matched in AAA.
