He wasn't listed on the roster yesterday. Is that the problem people were talking about earlier? The website not being updated?
    edit:
If Hill is on the team, the roster still isn't updated for Pensacola's page.

    Re: 2012 Minor League Transactions

The soon-to-be 25-year-old Ryan Kiel was promoted to Bakersfield. Mike Dennhardt was called on to take his place and make his professional debut for the Dragons.

    edit:
For those not in the know, Dennhardt is pretty underrated around here. He was once thought to possibly be drafted within the first five rounds, but he had Tommy John surgery about a year ago, and the Reds were able to draft him in the 32nd round out of Boston College and sign him over slot.

    2009 scouting report from http://www.perfectgame.org/articles/...x?article=2238
Dennhardt doesn't have an above-average pitch, but is nonetheless a significant prospect because of the depth of pitches in his repertoire. He has four solid-average pitches, and his ability to mix them effectively and command them sets him apart. His fastball is generally in the 88-91 mph range, and he complements it with a slider, curve and changeup. He also generates unusually good tailing action to righthanded hitters with his two-seamer and can produce good cutting action on his fastball, effectively giving him a fifth and sixth pitch. After consecutive 9-0 seasons for New Jersey prep power Don Bosco Prep, Dennhardt cut his teeth at Boston College with a 5-2, 4.96 record and 44 strikeouts in 52 innings as a freshman, working in a swing role. He gave a better demonstration of the kind of pitcher he is during the summer in the Cape Cod League, working strictly as a starter for Chatham. He made eight starts and went 2-3, 2.76 with 14 walks and 22 strikeouts in 46 innings. Dennhardt doesn't have a lot of deception or leverage in his delivery, and looks like he has maxed out physically, but he has a quick arm and an advanced feel for pitching, and his present stuff measures up.

Within the last two days. Unless he was playing with the issue.

Bakersfield put Blaine Howell back on the disabled list. Josh Smith was reactivated to take his place.

A series of moves have been made. The Reds have released left-handed veteran Ron Mahay from Triple-A Louisville. Right-handed pitcher Wirfin Obispo has been called up from Double-A Pensacola to Louisville. The Reds have also promoted outfielder Andrew Means and right-handed pitcher Curtis Partch to Double-A Pensacola. Infield James Ewing was sent down to High-A Bakersfield.

Jefry Sierra was activated from the disabled list. Theo Bowe was promoted to Bakersfield. Brooks Pinckard was promoted back to Bakersfield. Dan Tuttle was placed on the disabled list, and Lucas O'Rear was called up to take his place (has issued 49 walks in 53.1 career innings pitched in the Arizona League). I'm hoping Vidal is in Pensacola to stay, and Rodriguez gets bumped to Louisville when he comes off the DL. I think they've both earned it.

Cody Puckett has been promoted to Louisville. I don't know who he is going to replace but I am guessing Denis Phipps got hurt as he was pinch hit for with only two at-bats.

Update: Phipps hurt his shoulder during Tuesday's game.

Also, Stephen Hunt is moving up to Double-A to replace Puckett.
