This team is always in the game guys, we all know the offense can explode and will eventually. Hang in there I know it is tough right now. I mean I can feel the breeze from these K's all the way in Columbus.

Why didn't Walt target Gio again?

Billy Beane was there to be had.

    Trinkets for Manhattan.

Not the gold mine he handed San Diego.

Like yesterday, we need some good middle relief pitching to keep us in this game.

Lecure does something against his first batter that Latos couldn't do in 5 innings - put a guy away.

It didn't seem to bother Gonzalez.

Latos starts slow every year. I have more of a problem with wasting 2 pitches each at bat trying to get batters to chase. I don't know if that's on Latos or Mes, but with his stuff he should attack hitters more.

And with that at bat, Rolen is batting exactly 0.100

    Rolen is just done.

And for those of you who are effusive in your praise for Gonzalez - bear in mind, he is facing the Reds. I could put a quality start against these stiffs. Gio was ugly in his first start.

This guy Gonzalez can pitch. He is not like those stiffs the Cardinals were running out there.

Gonzalez does look tough. 95 mph fastball. Nice curve.

Maybe Ludwick thinks he is still hitting in Petco.
