Better giving up a single than a double.

Points to the quality of the pitching - these guys can get some powerful hitters to hit some pretty weak stuff up the 3rd base line.

That said, the reaction times needed to play 3rd in the bigs are almost super human.

Arroyo starts the 8th. Ondrusek and Bray should be ready if needed.

This has been a great effort by Arroyo...and we needed it.

Your telling me. Both these teams can't hit worth crap right now. The Reds should be more ashamed because they have more talent.

I am shocked. I thought this was automatic Champan/Marshall Territory.

I really hope we can finish it off and give him the win. And good move by Dusty to let him finish off that time through the lineup and no more.

BIG GAME BRONSON IS BACK! Great performance. And all of you who have been knocking this guy for the past year can start apoogising. You know who you are.

If the Reds don't hang on I will laugh at the Dusty haters that will inevitably complain about pulling Arroyo.

    Great job by Bronson!

I'm not a big Dusty fan, but if we lose this it certainly won't be Dusty's fault.

I will continue to knock him. Weak hitting team he went against. Still little life on his fastball. He had starts like this last year in similiar situations.

Nats simply could not hit tonight.

I suspect Chapman is still a little tired from the 2 innings on Wednesday.
