Grounder to short and they get the runner at the plate. We will take it.

Another problem is the way the starters come out of spring training, unprepared. It takes them all April to get going.

Bailey and Latos needed more innings.

I won't argue that. This team didn't seem to be ready to play when the bell rang.

Line drive snagged by Cozart. No damage done.

Except that of our fragile psyches.

Under normal circumstances I would say 2 runs is doable. However.....

Bailey is really struggling today. I would push him to the limit no matter what. He gets shelled, he gets shelled. The mess last night pretty much pushed this to deep six territory.

Drew leaves the yard. Prediction of the day. Or bounces to first.

Mesoraco swings at the first pitch. Amazing. And at the second pitch as well. Don't the Reds have any coaches? Geez. Give that rookie the take sign or something.

The team did see 10 pitches that inning. So that is a positive.

Seriously - this team is absolutely AWFUL.

Reds' hitters must have been told to swing at every strike. First two pitches of the inning were balls. After that they offered at 7 of the next 8 pitches. The 8th was a called strike.
