Stubbs needed the game off...lets see if they can get more then one run today
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Good to see BP and Rolen back in there and getting Harris and Valdez out of there. They could have another rough going though against this young lefty Detwiler who had a solid outing last time out vs the Mets.

Like to see Heisey there. Like to see him have a real nice game offensive's and defensively and we need to see if Rolen has anything left.
Maybe I'm crazy but I'm feeling good about the offense today.
I think Heisey should play instead of Stubbs against RIGHTIES. Heisey does not hit lefties. Very odd day to make that switch, really baffling to me. Do the Reds follow these stats?
Stubbs plays constantly against righties, who he can't hit, but rests against lefties, who he can hit.
Heisey lifetime against lefties has a solid .179 BA and a world beating .545 OPS.
Hope it all works out, Reds need a win.
BP starts the game off with a fly ball to Werth for the first out.
Brandon! Back from the bench but he's a little slow on a 94 mph heater and ultimately bloops to Werth on a breaking ball.

Single up the middle for Cozart. He sure has been hitting well.
