6-4-3 DP ends the inning. 3-1 Nationals after 3.
I assure you, Homer is tearing it up on Pitch/FX. My simulation modules have him throwing a shutout.
LOL. I love it. Cue Doug and "Homer had the 5th-best slider in MLB last year" and BS like that. People are so quick to dismiss (or not even consider) the mental aspect of the game. Homer just doesn't have the mental toughness IMO to be a good MLB pitcher on a consistent basis. I would LOVE to be wrong on that, obviously. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be. Also, he has an injury almost every season.
Votto flies out to left.
We keep waiting for the light to go on with Homer, it's been years and it hasn't happened yet. It's doubtful anyone can turn him around. I'd be willing to try him in relief.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.
Bruce grounds out to short. 2outs.
Valdez bunts and pops out to the pitcher. 3-1 Nationals mid 4th.
Ok, Im caught up now.
One of the Reds offensive flaws is that they have trouble in big ballparks. They are used to playing in band boxes in the Central.
Bunt pop up ends the top fourth. 3-1 Nats. Homer takes the hill again.
Valdez as the 5 hole hitter is funny.
Heisey,Stubbs and Mez can do damage if they don't hack next inning.
Ankiel pops out to short.1 out.
