6 pitches to end the inning. 4 of them by one player.

would like a major shakeup but there is no one performing at Louisville either. Might get ugly. I bet Bob C is shaking in his loafers.

In other news, We Bought a Zoo has kept my afternoon entertaining at least.

A's DFA'd Brandon Allen. Big lefty power minor leaguer. He doesn't fit well positionlly as a 1B, but he's dabbled in LF. I'd give him a shot. At least he'd provide a threat off the bench. I'd give him a week or two in LF against RHP with Heisey in CF and Stubbs and Ludwick playing against LHP.

They won't miss Willie to make room for him.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

If any player, manager, coach or front office says "tip your cap" to Edwin Jackson after this game I'll throw up in my mouth. Somebody take some responsibility here and understand the reasoning behind a 90 pitch 2 hit shutout. It's not all Edwin Jackson.

6 of the 9 innings the Reds were out on less than 10 pitches. I have seen bad team slumps before but this is about as bad I have ever seen.

Well, that's the hat trick. C'mon guys, avoid the urban sombrero tomorrow.

    Now wait just a second!

    Reds got a run.

Is he on waivers? Worth a shot. Also bring up Janish and send down Harris. If Stubbs continues to be this bad, send him down and bring up Frazier to help with the bench and OF. Ludwick is also iffy. In the words of Kel rom Kenan and Kel, "Ah....here it goes!"

They will not sound panicked, but we know.

Felt like a shutout, and I think that's how Marty or Brantley called it after the last out.

Janish? If he's the answer to the Reds offensive woes, the season is already doomed.

Welsh making excuses about "facing tough pitching." Thats garbage ... The reds couldn't hit AAA pitching right now. Come to think of it, the Reds COULDN'T hit their own minor league pitching in that spring showcase game before opening day. They lost to their future stars 2-1 ... Go figure.
