Homer falls behind Zimmerman. One on, one out.

Infield hit despite great try by Cozart.

    One down for Nats.
His lifetime .676 OPS says they are just being nice. On the bright side it's .686 against RHP. Heck of a lefty for the bench.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Nice effort by Cozart but an infield hit for Zimmerman

for Harris and some of the others, I think I'd take .676 right now.

For Stubbs, it would be more than double his current OPS.

Homer losing now 3-1 on double by Laroche.

    Please, end this.

LaRoche doubles to right center. 3-1 Nationals.

That's all the runs the Nats will need today. I liked first inning Homer much better than this nibbler.

Same old, same old with Bailey. He just doesn't have what it takes to be a good MLB pitcher. He's lucky as heck he's in the rotation right now and not Chapman.

OK -- for all you Homer fans who say his K/BB rate is great and all that.

Here is the umpteenth example of his inability to cope with men on base and the slightest hint of trouble. At some point, every game, he falls apart just enough to put the Reds in trouble.

I don't know if he intentionally nibbles, or if he loses command, or what.

Bronson Arroyo, with inferior stuff, rises to the occasion with men on base. Homer goes into the tank.

Okay, I was wrong. Bailey doesn't give up runs only immediately after the Reds score.

Heck, I'd say the game's out of reach. He just needs to give innings at this point even if he gives up 8 and save the pen.

I'm sure he'll become an ace the second the Reds finally say enough is enough I just don't think it will happen before then.

Over 50 pitches in the third already, doubtful Homer will get past the 5th at this rate.

This pitcher belongs in the bullpen. He is effective in spots. Small spots.

I don't care about his warmup habits or what. Somebody needs to covert him to relief.

Or better yet, trade him for a lefty hitter for LF.

Full count to Werth. Walk. Gee whiz.
