It's the Codero curse. Heisey pops up and ends up on 2B

Point awarded to Hi-C for ending up at 2B.

Ludwick gets thrown out at first thinking he had a double and Heisey gets to second on an infield popup.

Willie Harris on deck. Hanigan ahead in the count.

Hanigan lines back to pitcher. Nothing.

Reds would be in good shape here except they are required to score in order to win.

Hanigan couldn't be the manigan and the threat is ended.

With the Reds' luck, this will be another walkoff

They're through scoring. It probably is just a matter of time.

Chapman pitching. It's unfortunate he has to be used here. Tomorrow is an off day, he could have three days off.

Stubbs is in the game. He's hitting ninth. So we could see Chappy for two innings here.

    Chapman fans Zim.

If Homer pitched today and blew a 5 run lead this board would gave had a meltdown and 4 new threads would have started.

That is true. I thought of that as well.

But Leake is a less experienced pitcher who has been better overall. So he gets some slack.
