What if this is a quick-end for Rolen? If the shoulder is too banged up, does anyone see him retiring mid-season?
It would be sad to see, but it could open up $$$ and room to bring home Youk.
At least it may explain his struggles. Given his lack of production offensively, the Reds will be better with Frazier in the lineup.
I don't wish Rolen ill will - but this team needs someone else at 3B IMO

Kinda saw it coming. Not saying he isn't hurt, but with the way he was struggling I figured he'd take a trip to the DL.
I don't think he was ever fully recovered to begin with. He hasn't been the same since he first hurt the shoulder.
