Thanks, Doug. What are your thoughts on the mechanics on display here?

Cingrani and Lotzkar have beautifully fluid motions...I always like it when a pitcher doesn't look like he's exerting himself too much.

    Billy Hamilton is really fast.

Vidal really takes some hacks up there, personally I love it. That boy swings hard.

Lotzkar still worries me a little bit. There is still some hyperabduction going on in his motion. While he has cleaned up his mechanics ten fold, there is still a bit of a pause from my side of things when I see him pitch.

The rest of the pitchers didn't really leave me with any concerns as far as injuries go.

With the hitters, there are a lot of things. I am a guy who prefers a guy be quiet in his set up, so all of the movement that Lutz has before the pitch and his set up is something I am not a big fan of, but that is more of a preference than a concern. Billy Hamilton is still off balance far too often for my comfort zone (maybe I just happen to see him on bad days?). Didi Gregorius, when he stays back on the ball and swings with authority, has a really really good looking swing. I have some BP footage of him that causes me to dream on his bat.

Best looking swings to me are Wright, Greene and Vidal. Hamilton's swing looks a bit too big.

    I like Sulburan's delivery.

I appreciate the slow-motions on the pitchers. Watching Cingrani at regular speed, I got the impression that he's hardly extending or exerting. But the slow motion shows that he's raising his leg and striding more than it first appeared (to me, at least). I suppose that speaks to fluidity. I thought that Sulbaran was a little more quick-twitch than the others--he keeps it in tight and explodes a little more, perhaps--but the motions all seemed fundamentally similar. Enough to make me wonder if it's deliberate.

It is somewhere on my hard drive. I am pretty backlogged on video right now. I have an entire game from Dayton to get through as well as most of the BP from the futures game still that is just sitting there with stock file names straight from my camera.

I will get to it eventually and try to remember to post it here. It just might be a few weeks before I get there.

I thought LaMarre's swing was great. A bit long, but if he keeps that back shoulder up, he's gonna have some pop.

    And Cingrani, WOW. Beautiful.
