It was Kevin Slowey whom the Bats knocked around.

Dayton's final was 9-3. Nice to see Waldrop do what he did so impressively last year at Billings--pound out extra-base hits. After a very sluggish start, his 2B and 3B tonight push him to .321.

Good golly. Henry Rodriguez leads off the bottom of the 12th (4-4 game) with a double. Costanzo walks. Rodriguez gets picked off second base.

JJ Hoover with a fine start to the season 6IP 2H 2ER 1BB 12K. In five of his six outings he has not given up a hit.
Paul Janish continues to lay siege to IL pitching. .325/.372/.600/.972.
Lefty relievers in Pensacola are off to a hot start. Manno 4.1 IP 1 H 1 BB 5K. Joseph 5.2 IP 2 H 2 BB 8 K. Drew Hayes is struggling to get his Blue Wahoo feet under him so far.
Slidin' Billy Hamilton is en fuego to date out in California. .385/.489/.667/1.156. Throw in 10 sacks pilfered.

Haha, when the girlfriend isn't around, I allow myself to really nerd out with all of the games, having a tab open for each of the Reds' minor league games, and then another window for my fantasy baseball team. The Reds have a lot of interesting players in the minor leagues, so it makes following them a lot of fun. I will try to update as often as I can this year, but it will dependent on my social calendar.

On another note, I am very encouraged with Billy Hamilton's hot start. I hope he can keep it up. Also, JJ Hoover has been fantastic on this young season.

Slidin' Billy in away games so far: .625/.700/.938. I didn't realize he was playing in a slowpitch softball league. :-)
