He could have meant to take it slow on purpose came out of the box fast on instinct and purposefully slowed his pace. May not have actually tweaked it.

That said, Phillips said he just, "felt it and didn't reinjure", so take that FWIW.

He's hurt, he didn't re-injure himself. The Nats color guy (who is a ****ing moron) tried to say that he re-injured himself right off the bat, and assumed. That's probably where this is coming from.
Let it heal man....I like a gamer....but he's gotta heal better.
Agreed. I'd like to see Valdez at 2nd base for the next week and get Phillips fully healed so we're not seeing him pull something in June and going on the DL for 60 days

He is going to end up hurting himself and lose major time because he is playing hurt. DL him take the 15 days with a smile or he my lose his season
Unfortunately he played on Sunday. Otherwise the Reds could back date placing him on the DL to the date he first suffered the injury. I hope he can muddle through until it heals. I am also holding my breath.
