And they'll wonder why the attendance won't get better...it's because of pathetic games like this..

No way I will travel to see this team when I live 800 miles away

No Chapman or Marshall... sure, they can't pitch every game, but in games this important at least one of them should make an appearance when it is that close. Kinda threw that one away.

He got the guy out. Isn't that the name of the game. You don't get style points.

I can take getting beat. I can't take what happens so often under Dusty Baker's watch. A new embarrassment almost every night.
Rounding third and heading for home...

Intentional walks are our forte. Good thing, not very good at much else right now.

You could argue that his lack of control tonight was a result of not getting enough work.

Still though, 1 run from our offense. They're losing games for us.

Most people wouldn't regardless, so you aren't exactly defying the odds there.

Are we really criticizing the pitching because of this game. They've scored 1 run like five times. Btw, pointing out bray got a lefthander out is not defending him, it is pointing out a fact.

And if he does, as you say, suck. And if is not, as you say, ready. Then isn't that a pretty boneheaded move by the manager to bring him in in a game-deciding situation?

Has Chapman pitched a bit more than Ondrusek?

The idea in that situation is to get the lefthanded hitter to hit the ball on the ground. Of course the idea is not to walk the first left handed hitter you face with the winning run on second, another on first, and one out. I thought his style was pretty good. Wish he could get it over the plate.

Dusty is gonna get all the heat, and I agree he's not a good manager by any means, but this disaster of a team is on Walt.
