It was the first pitch right in the back. They have bad blood. You have to give him a warning if you are the ump in this rivalry. It's just the way it is.

Why does this team turn stupid when they play the Cards?

I have a really bad feeling that despite the loss of Carpenter, Pujols, LaRussa, Duncan and the potential that Wainwright might not be the same, the Cards are going to own us.

Warning was justified, but you said you were certain it was intentional.

Cueto has been missing his spots all game. If he wanted to hit him he wouldn't have thrown an offspeed pitch.

Ugly inning- but no harm befalls them.

I am almost embarrassed to watch a Drew Stubbs at bat in the privacy of my own home.

I think Stubbs will take one or possibly even two balls to split up the three called strikes he takes.
