Jordan Smith gave up four runs in 1/3 of an inning. Not great of a return.

Didi has three hits tonight for Pensacola. LaMarre, Guzman and Brodie Greene have homered, with LaMarre adding a 3B. But the Blue Wahoos trail 8-6 in the eighth.

Man, Drew Hayes has struggled in AA. Guess that jump from Dayton was a little much.

Chad Rogers with 4 K in the first two innings for Bakersfield. Hamilton has fanned twice. No score in the third.

Oh my gosh, I'm almost shocked when LaMarre actually has a good game.

Didi got his fourth hit (4-5) and came around to score in the ninth, but the Wahoos left the tying run at second and lost 8-7. They outhit Jacksonville 13-7.

Sharky with a performance you can sink your teeth into. Must have some bite on that breaking ball tonight. 0-0 after four. Unfortunately, his 6 Ks are three fewer than the other guy's.

I just hope he can "fin"ish what he starts.

9 Bakersfield batters have gone down in a Blaze of glory. But not Yorman Rodriguez. I would have lost money on that wager.

Me, too. Regardless, he's really making some waves around the league.

Your-man is now 2-2, and Bakersfield is up 2-1 after five.

He'll be fine unless somebody comes to the plate with a harpoon.

Visalia reliever has struck out five in 1 2/3 IP. Bakersfield needs to score a couple more runs or Visalia may snatch victory from the Jaws of defeat.

They bopped Sharky in the nose with an oar. That hurt. 3-2 Visalia after six.

Fourteen Blazes (Blazers? Blazi?) have fanned through six.

Billy doubled and Lutz drove him in to tie the game in the seventh. The inning ended when Travis Mattair made contact for the first time tonight.

Vidal left the game not long after being hit by a pitch.

Stat of the night. SB: Duran 1, Lutz 1, Hamilton 0.
