At this point why not just hit Cozart cleanup?

Anyone but the two current slowest players on the team.

Shortstop hitting clean-up? You're dealing on an entirely different plane than Dusty can even begin to imagine.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

If it doesn't improve, why should he last beyond 20 more games. Not to blame him, but you just have to do something to change the chemistry.

I would like it too, except I'd prefer different players at about 5 positions.

At this point, we can only change so much. They will pan out to their career avg. except maybe Rolen.

I'm told here that managers don't win or lose games.

We had a decent manager that seemed to have a pattern of making logical decisions based on common sense. He was also paid peanuts. Win. win.

Having an inferiority complex we then went out and threw a bunch of money at a big name guy that coaches by his gut and makes questionable decisions on a daily basis. Heck, the lineup card has been an issue from day one.

I say bring back Paul Janish and the Reds will start to win.

He seems like a good guy, a hard worker, a good fielder.

    He can't hit.

But the baseball gods may be angry at the Reds for sending down such a solid guy.

Bring back Paul, turn around the season.

    That simple.

Janish has been killing the ball in AAA. Maybe he pulled a Space Jam and stole the Reds players talent.

It's got to be the tattoos.

Fact is we haven't been any good since we dumped Laynce Nix. We're really missing that extra Y.
