At this point why not just hit Cozart cleanup?
I'm told here that managers don't win or lose games.
We had a decent manager that seemed to have a pattern of making logical decisions based on common sense. He was also paid peanuts. Win. win.
Having an inferiority complex we then went out and threw a bunch of money at a big name guy that coaches by his gut and makes questionable decisions on a daily basis. Heck, the lineup card has been an issue from day one.
So what happen between innings that made Latos look like garbage? Geez
I say bring back Paul Janish and the Reds will start to win.
He seems like a good guy, a hard worker, a good fielder.
He can't hit.
But the baseball gods may be angry at the Reds for sending down such a solid guy.
Bring back Paul, turn around the season.
That simple.
"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner
