Not just tonight. Pretty much a disaster thru 3 games.

Who would have thunk that Arroyo would start out as our second best pitcher this year? Most wanted him exiled before the season started.

Disaster seems rather hyperbolic, especially since his line against the Nats was acceptable.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Eventually the Reds are going to break out of it and score like 14 runs.

And then lose 3-2 the day after.

They got the mother of all lucky breaks last year courtesy of the braves. Kudos to them for taking advantage of it. But they're still lucky.

So who takes over for Dusty eventually this year? Bell? LaRussa?

    2 runs? You're an optimist, aren't you?

I'd put my money on Bell.

Latos could go 2 more easily. He is pumping 96-97 on his fastball right now. Save the pen Dusty. If we don't score, using the bullpen makes no sense. If he starts getting mashed, but his pitch count is relative to the inning, leave him in.

No one. He stays and perhaps retires at season's end.

I would agree. I think Walt will try to get TLR, but I don't see him biting.

Riggleman's probably an option as well.
