    Garcia's smirk is mocking me
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Just tuned in. So let me get this straight, did we trade Volquez for Volquez and just for giggles throw in some top prospects? Sweet.

One of the most hittable pitches of the night and Bruce hits a routine GB to second.

He's always a slow starter. April is easily his worse month. He'll be fine.

What if this wasn't a rhetorical question?

Was just getting ready to say the same thing. For whatever reason Latos is always abysmal in April and cranks it up the rest of the year.

Although, to his credit, he didn't live by those words this offseason (Latos, Marshall, Madson, etc.) Now, whether or not it makes a difference is another story...

1-7 5.57 ERA in April for his career.

I think he's also getting into his own head with this slow start on a new team with high hopes. I think if he can face a Pittsburgh or Houston and do well he'd be off the races.

Too bad he can't face his own teams lineup, he'd throw a perfect game.

He has no feel for anything offspeed right now. He's really struggling to throw his off speed stuff for strikes.

    He'll figure it out.
