My answer to that would be he was a first-round choice and a lot of people ragged on him from the start because the Reds could have had Tim Lincecum. So Stubbs was a whipping boy from the start to some extent.
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

Because Heisey is platooned with Ludwick, and Stubbs is run out there every. freaking. night.

I'm as optimistic as a person can be, and old enough to not be prone to knee-jerk reactions, but it's hard not to think we're seeing what this team really is, as opposed to a team just getting off to a slow start. I think the pitching will come around, but the offense? Not so much.

By THAT much? you must've missed his defensive prowess in the CF on Sunday too.

What's even more sad are the people on Twitter trying to justify taking out frustrations with a player on his wife's twitter. That's weird.

That is the very reason I've always defended Stubbs. That and I'm stubborn as hell and hate to be wrong.

And then when Heisey starts striking out once ever 3-4 AB's, what will Reds fans start saying?

But that's not what Reds fans are whining about. They're whining about the K's.
