Maybe we shouldn't have traded Francisco.

Not everyone. I'm still on the Stubbs bandwagon. I realize it isn't crowded, but I'm still on. I somehow remain convinced he'll cut down on his swing at some point and become a bigtime player, though I'm not as sure as I once was.

Well it simply isn't logical to try to defend someone by attacking others. Sorry if you can't see that.

he is a crappy clean up hitter

    .269 in 2011 & .239 in 2010

He shined in the leadoff hole last season hitting .350

My point is that Stubbs and Heisey are essentially the same people and yet Heisey doesn't get the same flack because, for some reason, Reds fans like him.

Just got home, I predicted the Reds would have 0 runs. I am some sort of genius

I didn't want to go out on that far of a limb, only wanted to make a safe bet

Haha, it appears we have a slightly moody Dave tonight. Relax, buddy, we still have 150 games left. Hopefully not 150 like this one though.

mainly because Hi-C had 4 more HR and 6 more RBI in 325 less at bats than Stubbs last season

They might have a similar K rate, but they aren't similar players.

Isn't the only reason people hate Stubbs is because he K's so much?

Heisey is a good PH and has some pop.
Stubbs has totally lost his power. If he fouls one or hits a dribbler, that's more than I expect...

and the fact he only had 4hr and 12 RBI while hitting .233 in the 2nd half last season
