Maybe if the Reds added some threatening nicknames it would put fear into the opposing pitcher.

    Attack Cozart
    Lightning Stubbs
    Joltin' Joey
    Dat's One Bad Dude
    J. Bruce Lee
    Rockin' and Rolen
    Crush Heisey
    Rocky Mesoraco
    Brushback Latos
Zero chance the Reds miss the playoffs!

I really like this line-up. Rolen has needed to move from 4th since before the season started. Cozart right now is our best leadoff option given his speed and ability to get on base currently. If Stubbs can take advantage of the protection (whatever that is worth) afforded him by batting infront of Votto this could work out.

I see great things in baseball. It's our game.

Cozart batting 2nd was worked, I don't know why that had to change, especially bringing up Stubbs in the lineup. BP works for cleanup and i like Rolen batting lower while he's so cold. I figured Dusty might try Bruce 2nd like he did last year. Pressure is on Stubbs now to get on base.

I was thinking of trying a line-up similar to this myself. Only I would flip Stubbs & Heisey. That way Heisey bats #2 in front of Votto and should see some fastballs (he's a real good fastball hitter). I guess you could apply the same logic to Stubbs though as well.

I would like to change the 2nd spot in the order to "St. Stubbs." He can been canonized here in the Sundeck as the patron Saint of the Strikeout.

Drop Rolen 4 more spots and Baker would have it right.

Only way I separate Cozart & Votto right now is if the player in between them is a professional bunter

Glad they are trying something to jump start the offense and Rolen not at 4 = awesome.
