Ground out to short. 2 down. I'm still nervous.

3 up, 3 down. Not what I would have done, but I'll take it.

Wow, nice work, Bronson. Didn't throw more than 16 pitches in an inning.

He didn't face Holliday like I said, so hey.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Yes, but wait until Arroyo gets trotted out there for the 9th inning.

I can't describe how outstanding it would be if he bounces back in a big way this year.

I think it comes down to the old adage... do you go with the guy that's warm and on a roll or do you go to the guy that's cold off the bench? There's risk in both but at only 85 pitches and coming off a 1-2-3 inning, I think that was the better choice.
"No matter how good you are, you're going to lose one-third of your games. No matter how bad you are you're going to win one-third of your games. It's the other third that makes the difference." ~Tommy Lasorda

Jon Jay hurt himself running into the centerfield wall. He's like the Anti-Stubbs
