Brackman Ks Jerad Head and then induces a groundout to get out of the third without giving up any runs.

Silva legs out and infield single, moves to second on a ground. Waldrop laces one just foul down the left field line. And then hits a three-bag right-center field gapper to score Silva. Arias laces a single. 2-0. Jovan Gonzalez is short. Theo Bowe with a stand-up triple to make it 3 zip. Juan Perez gives it a ride but it is hauled in by the left fielder. Inning over.

A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

I honestly would have liked to see how Theo Bowe could have done on that triple if there weren't runners on base and he could have just gone full out the entire way. I bet he makes it close at the plate.

Bowe showed some range on that fly ball.

He is one of the 10 fastest players in all of baseball. I feel pretty confident with that statement.

First time I have seen him. But I don't doubt it. Gerson with 5 Ks. in the first three innings.

I have timed him from home to first in the 3.8 range more than a few times. That is Billy Hamilton fast. The first year Hamilton was in the system, Baseball America actually rated Bowe, not Hamilton, as the fastest player in the system. Dude can flat out fly.

Brackman hangs up another goose egg in the fourth in spite of a double and a wild pitch.

Some little kid running the bases while slapping hands with players from both teams. Good times at a minor league park. Gets a Standing Ovation as he races across home. He gets a bat and a plaque and a smile as big as the world. He is overcoming some type of illness. Nice.

Costanzo with his second hit of the game. Two on. One courtesy an error.

Anyone else watching the Dragons game see any Alfonso Soriano in Junior Arias' swing or is it just me?
