    4-21-2012 Reds vs Cubs

    Lineups:

    Reds
    Cozart
    Stubbs
    Votto
    Phillips
    Ludwick
    Rolen
    Heisey - 9
    Mesoraco
    Leake

Bruce out, 45 degrees, wind not reported yet. Nice to see Mes get back to back starts.

Leake with Mes as the catcher this year pitched 6 ip, 7 h, 3 er, 1 bb, 4 k
For his career, he's pitched to Mes three times for a line of 23 ip, 16 h, 6 runs (all earned), 3 bb, 12 k, 2.35 era, .203 Avg Against
For what it's worth, which is very little considering it's just three games, Leake has pitched much better with Mes behind the dish than Hanigan, and of course Ramon Hernandez (I don't think any pitcher last year pitched better with Hernandez catching, literally. Enought about him though).

Let's pick up another W and extend this massive win streak!

Bruce usually doesn't get days off or need them necessarily. What gives?
Attended 1976 World Series in my Mother's Womb. Attended 1990 World Series Game 2 as a 13 year old. Want to take my son to a a World Series Game in Cincinnati in my lifetime.

He's been bad against Maholm. Also, I'd say Heisey and Ludwick both deserve a start...jmho

Not a bad line-up against the lefty. I'd probably move Mes to 6th and drop Rolen and Heisey each down a spot. I hope Phillips is OK.

I am predicting a win and a good start of 7 innings for Leake.

Cozart doubles and Stubbs does the right thing and grounds to the right side to get him over to 3rd. I've noticed in the last few games they are doing more of the little things to manufacture runs, which is nice to see.
