He's locked up in a good one. 0-0 after five and Bakersfield only has one hit. But Cingrani has struck out more than the other guy.

Dayton's final was 12-7. Sierra, Selsky and O'Shea each had three hits; Selsky with two doubles.

Anybody else thinking that Brandon Dailey might be a breakout guy?

Pensacola won 5-3. Continuing good relief from Tanner, Freeman and Joseph. Josh Fellhauer was 3-3.

Cingrani is my No. 4 prospect in the organization; I put him over Corcino. (Mesoraco, Cozart, Hamilton, Cingrani, Corcino.) Absolutely love him. Tonight's line: 7 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 9 K.

For the season: 3 starts, 1-1, 17 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 20 K, 0.53 ERA. Wow. This is after completely dominating last year at Billings.

Cingrani is going to be wearing a Blue Wahoos uniform by midseason at the latest IMO.

Billy Hamilton is fast. Bakersfield was tied at 0 heading to the bottom of the 9th. Hamilton led off with a single. He stole second base with Lohman at the plate. Lohman popped up a bunt for the first out. Donald Lutz was intentionally walked. Juan Duran came to the plate. Hamilton then stole third base. Duran hit a friggin' pop up to short right field that was caught by the second baseman with his back to the infield that was roughly 120 feet deep according to Dan Desbris (Bakersfield Radio guy). That is deep enough for Hamilton, who tagged up and beat the throw home. Blaze win, 1-0.
