    Nice catch by Stubbs.
"This isn’t stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. 0-3 and coming off major surgery, pitching for an offensive juggernaut.

    He's not exactly Justin Verlander.

Clevenger seems like a guy who knows his limitations.

Stubbs might touch every ball this inning.....

He pulls up and plays it on the bounce a lot IMO. I'm not sold on UZR, but Stubbs grades out below average defensively in spite of being good at everything out there. If he'd turn some of those into outs...

I wonder if Ondrusek can dunk.

I wonder if Ondrusek's friends call him Ondrunksek when he drinks.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Reds beat a guy with a full trophy case? Belittle their accomplishment.

Reds get 9 baserunners, strand 7, and hit rockets that are outs? Cy Maholm.

I am frustrated too, but I think that you need to at least acknowledge that this team isn't the beginning of Major League (the movie) level bad.

Watching Stubbs and you just think, he's a good defender. But watching him play defense often you think, "I thought he was going to get that"...

I never thought that when watching Cameron and have never thought that watching FG.... Scouts may love Stubbs but I think UZR truly understands Stubbs.

Meh. I'd risk a triple every now and then to record several more outs. I think he'd catch most of them if he just took one more step.
