Thanks! Good crowd as always here, plus it's "Friends & Family" night so you get a hat and a Micky D's coupon w/your ticket.

Just my 2 cents...and with limited observations as well. He's looks like a TE or Sean Casey type definitely confined to 1st base. Big guy but he did "climb the ladder" on a line out a few innings ago.

Curtis Partch with a rough first inning that isn't over. Walk, walk, walk, double, double, out. 4 runs in so far against Pensacola.

Justice French gave up a solo HR earlier and Dayton is now up 3-1 in the top of the 6th.

Man, there must be something they like about that guy. His career ERA is over 5.00, but they keep trotting him out there as a starter.

The Dragons got good pitching from French, Ryan Kemp and Carlos Contreras in a 5-1 win. Ryan Wright had a pair of singles.

Tucker Barnhart's first HR of the season, with Bryson Smith aboard, puts the Blaze up 3-0 after five.

I was there tonight (though a good distance away from Kitty ). What's French's breaking ball? Slider? I was sitting at a bad angle to see exactly what it was doing, but he had it going tonight.

Although, the solo HR he gave up was a massive bomb. Massive.

Yessir, that's great news. Extremely strong outing from Lotzkar and hopefully this will get Barnhart going at the plate.

I like what I've seen of Yovan Gonzalez, the catcher at Dayton, on the two telecasts this week. Obviously he's off to a hot start at the plate, and he's got a quality short swing, but the main thing is that he looks like a very solid receiver and a good leader. A little competition for Barnhart as they climb the ladder.
