Well that's a terribly disappointing result to an otherwise good at-bat.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Jay's OpS has been in the .400's for over 2 years with the sacks full. Pressing.

Rolen looks about as washed up as one can look.

Pathetic. This isn't going to get better in any meaningful, sustained way. Walt needs to do something.

I thought Wells did a heck of a good job there. He threw excellent decision pitches to Ludwick (tough call), Bruce and Rolen.

Threw 31 pitches, so maybe the Reds will get to him later on.

Bruce, the lefty hitter, was the key man there, he needed to hit the fly ball.

Yep. Trying to yank the ball instead of staying in the middle of the field.

Great effort by Rolen. Infield hit for Campana
