If the Reds can put a couple of runs together this should be a drama free afternoon...
"This isnít stats vs scouts - this is stats and scouts working together, building an organization that blends the best of both worlds. This is the blueprint for how a baseball organization should be run. And, whether the baseball men of the 20th century like it or not, this is where baseball is going."---Dave Cameron, U.S.S. Mariner

If I recall, when Frazier played some second base in the minor leagues, it didn't really work out. I don't think the Reds view Todd as an option for second base.

I mean, they could also play Mesoraco at second. Or Mike Leake, he hits ok. But it doesn't make them second basemen.

Hopefully with two days off today and tomorrow, Phillips will be much improved by Tuesday. Also hopefully, the weather will warm up quickly for Brandon. Reds don't have a backup who can replace Brandon's bat.

Alright! 1-0 Reds on the Votto double.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Hitting Stubbs before Votto could be Dusty's best move ever as a Reds manager.

Ludwick lines out to center. Votto kind of tripped at 2nd.

Bruce grounds out to 2nd. Votto to 3rd. Looks like Votto is ok.

Ok, Rolen, it's time to get going here. Do something productive.

Reds offense is just annoying as can be. C'mon.
