Jeff Francis sits them down 1-2-3 in the first for the Bats with a strikeout mixed in.

Louisville is down 7-0 in the middle of the 7th. Probably not going to pull this one out.

Theo Bowe led off with a single. He moved to second on a ball to left by Perez (not sure if it was scored a hit or error). A sac bunt was pulled back and the ball was in the dirt and Bowe took off to third. The catcher tried to throw him out and tossed it into left. 1-0 Dragons. Robert Maddox pulls one through the infield and brings in another one. 2-0.

What's the story on Maddox? He's had some decent power numbers so far, but he's old for such low levels and I always take Billings numbers with a grain of salt. Is he a legit LH power prospect and is he limited to 1B? His numbers look good.

While I have only seen a handful of his at bats, the power is legit, but his discipline is very poor by looking at the numbers. He is probably limited to first. He was an outfielder in the past and has been moved to first. Doubtful that they make that move if he was able to stick in the outfield.

Dayton puts another one on the board on an error on the catcher/left fielder. A single and a throw home to get the runner was easily there by 5-10 feet, but the catcher let the ball get by him and the run scored. Dayton up 3-0.
