Brodie Greene doubled in LaMarre and Joel Guzman (walk) to make it 2-0, but Greene was thrown out trying to stretch it into a triple.
Blaze up 8-3 in the bottom of the sixth. Billy is having a great game. He has the aforementioned double and a single. He also has a walk. Billy has stolen two bases, bringing him to 16 for the season.
Yorman has also woken up today. He has two hits and two steals so far. He is almost up to the Mendoza line at .189.
Lutz and Duran have both hit bombs so far for the Blaze as well.
Renken had 9 K and allowed just four base runners (all hits) in 6 IP. Unfortunately, the Giants scored 3 runs on those four hits. Still a solid California league start for Renken.
San Jose scores three in the top of the seven due to three Blaze errors in the inning. Vidal had a fielding error and a throwing error on the same play and then James Ewing had an error as well. Blaze still up 8-6 in the middle of the seventh.
Blaze go 1-2-3 in the 7th. Blaze up 8-6 after 7.
Wilkin De La Rosa goes 1-2-3 for the Blaze in the 8th while striking out two.
Daniel Corcino is struggling some out there today. Through 2 he had not allowed a run, but he has walked 2 guys and had an error while throwing 47 pitches (there was an other error in the first inning).
Blaze go 1-2-3 in the 8th and Daniel Wolford is in for the save.
Wolford goes 1-2-3 in the 9th and the Blaze win 8-6. Billy Hamilton's BA is at .375 for the year.
Corcino has really settled down for the Blue Wahoos. He hasn't allowed a run through four and has four Ks and has only allowed two hits and two walks.
Gregorious is one for two today and has his batting average up to .387.
Corcino so far. 5 IP, 2H, 2BB, 5K. No runs.
