Stubbs beat the player to the bag. It was a tough chance.

Hope the Giant player who ended up hurt is all right.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

It would cost Votto an at bat either way. Even if stubbs is called safe it would be scored a fielders choice.

Sandoval has now hit in all 17 games this year. SF Giants record to start a year.

Replay looked like Stubbs was beaten by about half an inch.

I think it was the angle, Doug. They showed one angle that looked like Stubbs was out.

He wasn't. Not even close. Safe.
