I'd LOVE to see a big fly here from Jay.
94 and winning the division and the NLCS but falling in the WS to Toronto in 6

    94 Reds / 86 Cards / 85 Pirates / 76 Cubs / 72 Brewers

    3-0 to Phillips.

Walks in a run. Pitched looked pretty good to me, will take the run though.
The Cowboy would disagree. Then again, he thought Votto almost got hit in the ribcage.

1-1 on Bruce. Cannot believe he swung at that first pitch after the walk.

Now ball two, this Otero cannot find the plate.

My fantasy team would love to see something great from Jay right here.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

I watched the replay. He was not running hard. Looks like Dusty may have called him on it too. No excuse for not hustling.

Cowboy thinks the Reds should go first to third even on infield hits.

    C'mon Bruce.

    Jay doubles home two.

    R-E-D-S!
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Broke it open. Good time for Hoover's debut.
