I would say that double switch worked quite nicely.

Stubbs hits one off the wall, Cabrera stumbles, Stubbs reaches for three and is thrown out. Bad baserunning decision there. Absolute LASER by Melky.

    Two down.

I was thinking Stubbs would have a chance at an inside the park HR.

I think it was a good, aggressive baserunning decision. Sounds like Cabrera made a great play. Important to get to third with less than two outs..

I like him being aggressive. It took a fantastic throw to get him, otherwise he's standing on third. In a tied game, I might agree, but force them to make good plays otherwise.

Looks like Joey is trying to defend that doubles title from last year.

Does this team know it has a 3rd base coach? I swear everytime a guy rounds 2nd base his head is in the OF looking for the ball. If Stubbs would just run he'd have had no problem.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
