True, even the great Mariano blows one once in a while. But this was a big one, just when it seemed that this team had turned it around.

One half inning from a reliever shouldn't tell you that they have or haven't turned it around. They put themselves in a great position to win, if we do that enough we will be just fine.

Not particularly true. He got lit up in his first loss, and he did not pitch particularly well in his saves against Washington and the Cubs. He fools a lot of hitters with the curve, but when it hangs, they hit it a long way. I'm worried about this guy.

Today's game is a prime example why this team isn't going anywhere. Giants were the much better team anyway
